The highly anticipated new album from Seven, titled "55 9903," is set to drop this fall. The announcement was made by the band's label, who teased that the album will be a "departure" from their previous work.
"We're really excited about this new album," said the band's lead singer, John Doe. "It's a bit of a departure from our previous work, but we think our fans will really enjoy it."
The album is said to be a mix of indie rock, pop, and electronic music. It was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Rick Rubin.
"We wanted to make an album that was both personal and universal," Doe said. "We think we've done that with '55 9903.'"
The first single from the album, "55 9903," is out now. The band has also released a music video for the song, which can be viewed below.
Seven is scheduled to embark on a tour in support of the album this fall. The tour will begin in Los Angeles on October 1st and will end in New York City on November 15th.
